Dissolve two tablespoons of Borax Substitute in one litre of hot water. Spray or wipe onto surfaces as required.
Alternatively, sprinkle Borax Substitute directly onto the surface and wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Do not use on aluminium surfaces.
Kitchens & Bathrooms – Stubborn Stains
Ideal for cleaning and removing tough stains in kitchens and bathrooms.
For stubborn marks, mix Borax Substitute with a small amount of water to form a paste. Apply directly to the stain, leave for a few minutes, then wipe away.
For a gentle scouring paste, combine equal parts Borax Substitute, Bicarbonate of Soda, and Salt. Add a little water to form a paste, apply to the surface or equipment, then wipe clean.
Boost Laundry Detergent
Add two tablespoons to your detergent drawer to help soften water and improve cleaning performance.
Pre-Soak Laundry
Dissolve approximately 200g of Borax Substitute in a bucket of hot water. Add clothes and leave to soak before washing as normal.
For difficult stains, apply a paste of Borax Substitute and water directly to the stain, leave to stand, then wash as usual.
Toilet Cleaning
Neutralises odours and helps remove limescale. Pour approximately 300g into and around the toilet bowl, leave overnight, then flush.
Carpet Freshener
Sprinkle a small handful of Borax Substitute over the carpet and leave for up to one hour. Vacuum thoroughly to clean and deodorise fibres.
Bin Cleaning & Deodorising
Dissolve a handful of Borax Substitute in water and use the solution to clean, disinfect, and deodorise bins.
